The Invitation
In a world of constant connectivity many of us are seeking moments of stillness, deeper connection, and a renewed sense of balance with ourselves, one another, and the living world.
Imagine spaciousness — a deliberate cleansing breath that re-roots you to yourself, the land beneath your feet, the people beside you, and life beyond constant doing. A sanctuary in time that restores hope and wellbeing, and affirms life, preparing us for the essential work of healing, repair, and reimagining possibilities.
During this tech-free retreat, we will loosen the grip of screens and embody what it feels like to be human in a more grounded way by filling the space left behind with practices that return our attention to a human scale, including:

This weekend was absolutely phenomenal. From Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, I immersed myself in a Radical Rest & Renewal retreat that truly lived up to its name. The catch? You had to completely unplug — no phone, no computer, no smartwatch — In harmony with the Jewish tradition of Shabbat, the experience was bold, brilliant, and beautiful. Set on a breathtaking farm in Southern Maryland, we reconnected with nature, walked among the woods and fields, and grounded ourselves under the night sky. I leave this space full, satisfied, and completely renewed — mind, body, and spirit. Radical Rest isn't just time off… it's a return to self, to spirit, to sacred stillness.

It was the weekend I needed in my life to untether from my phone and better understand my relationship to my devices. A deeply needed space for rest, reflection and connection with like-minded people. An opportunity to lean into the ancient wisdom of Shabbat, and better understand the harmful relationship we have to the technology in our lives. To unplug, rest, reflect, connect, play, laugh, and be in community with others in a beautiful environment. I'm amazed at what is possible in 45 hours. Humanity needs retreats like this. Devora and Jason's retreat is on the frontlines of preserving what it means to be human.
